ONE PIECE CARD GAME

Concept

Use an array of high-cost finishers to remove the opponent's Characters, playing the cards rapid-fire thanks to the Leader effect's hand-changing and cost reduction. It combines blue's draws and black's offense for a high-quality removal-focused deck.

Deck Breakdown

Early Game

The Leader effect of "OP05-041 Sakazuki" lets you change 1 card in your hand each turn. Even if you end up with too many high-cost cards without Counters in your hand, you can use the card change effect to balance your hand. Begin the game with a mulligan to aim for high-cost finishers if needed, then use low to mid-cost search cards and the Leader effect to boost the quality of your hand.

If you're the second player and have "OP05-093 Rob Lucci" in your hand, it's important that you make aggressive use of the Leader effect from turn 1. If you change cards on the 1st and 2nd turns, then use a Counter against the opponent's first attack, you can make a beeline to the [On Play] effect of "OP05-093 Rob Lucci" that requires "3 cards from your trash."

Mid Game

Your mid-game objective should be to make powerful use of "OP05-051 Borsalino." Even working alone, the Leader's cost -1 effect lets Borsalino take out cost 5 Characters,
while having "OP02-096 Kuzan" and "ST06-005 Sengoku" in play makes the removal capability even more versatile.

The next step is to play Characters that have removal effects, so it's a key point that you hang on to cost-reducing cards.
If your opponent's deck plays high-cost finishers, you'll need to consider whether it's safe to attack and rest Kuzan and Sengoku.

End Game

At this stage of the game, you want to play more and more major finishers.
"OP04-044 Kaido" lets you return 1 large and 1 small Character to the hand, but this deck enables a combo letting you return 2 large Characters!

Once you've controlled the board, you can attack while paying attention to your Life.
Use the Leader effect's card changing to gather cards with Counter +2000, and get the Blocker-carrying "OP05-086 Nefeltari Vivi" and "OP04-083 Sabo" into play at the same time.
Your opponent will have an extremely hard time breaking your defense.
