Concept

Adding cards to your hand in exchange for life, this Hody Jones deck is built with <New Fish-Man Pirates> type cards that have powerful effects. You can use the Leader effect occasionally to prevent life reduction, using mono-green for a play speed and power that will surprise your opponent.

Deck Breakdown

Early Game

This Hody Jones <New Fish-Man Pirates> type deck consists of cards with the <Fish-Man> or <Merfolk> types.
"OP06-025 Camie"can draw either type with her excellent [On Play] effect.

The <New Fish-Man Pirates> type contains cards like "OP06-030 Dosun" and "OP06-029 Daruma" that have limitations on the Leader but powerful effects.
If the trigger effect of "OP06-031 Hatchan" activates, you'll be able to place unexpected pressure on your opponent.

Mid Game

The Leader's [Activate: Main] effect makes it unable to attack, but can rest opponent DON!! cards or small Characters while nullifying life loss from the effects of your own Characters. Use aggressive effects such as playing "OP06-024 Ikaros Much," and consider the choice of letting your Leader take part in attacking without using its effect.

"OP06-023 Arlong" can discard 1 card from your hand to seal away the opposing Leader's next attack.
If their leader has [When Attacking] effects, you'll be able to suddenly disrupt their plans.

End Game

"OP06-035 Hody Jones" is a powerful finisher card that expends life, but can rest blockers and DON!! cards while attacking with [Rush].
If you use the Leader effect along with it when needed, you'll be able to sweep away blocker and Event cards and aim for a lethal strike.

Being that the Hody Jones deck actively expends life, it needs to defend with low cost to avoid being overpowered by your opponent.
The light Cost 2 "OP06-033 Vander Decken IX" can K.O. the opponent's large Characters, using DON!! for attack while readying for "OP06-038 The Billion-fold World Trichiliocosm."
