Concept

A red/black "Koby" deck built around new {SWORD} type Characters. Koby's Leader effect allows {SWORD} Characters to attack Characters on the turn they are played, letting you swiftly remove your opponent's Characters from the field. When combined with {Navy} cards, this provides a solid and reliable foundation for your deck.

Deck Breakdown

Early Game

This battle-focused deck is built around "OP11-001 Koby," which allows {SWORD} type Characters to attack your opponent's Characters on the turn they are played.
Start off by using cards like "OP11-004 Kujyaku" to gather {Navy} Characters in preparation for a barrage of attacks on your opponent using your {SWORD} Characters.

"OP11-001 Koby" also has a powerful [Once Per Turn] effect that lets you protect a {Navy} Character with 7000 power or less in exchange for 3 cards from your trash.
Use the [On Play] effects of "OP11-084 Kuzan" or "OP03-089 Brannew" to ensure you have enough cards in your trash to activate it.

Mid Game

"OP11-010 Hibari" is an attacker with an [On Play] effect that lowers the power of an opponent's Character to set up the perfect attack.
Combine this with the [When Attacking] effect of "OP11-084 Kuzan" to allow Hibari and your Leader to attack active Characters in succession.
This gives you a chance to K.O. troublesome Characters before they have a chance to do anything.

You'll want to protect your rested Characters in order to keep using your [When Attacking] effects.
Take the initiative by attacking first to reduce the number of cards in your opponent's hand, while using "OP11-096 Ripper" to fend off your opponent's attacks.

End Game

In the endgame, you'll want to play "OP11-119 Koby" and use its [On Play] effect to launch even more attacks on your opponent's active Characters.
You can also use "OP11-092 Helmeppo" to temporarily play Koby from your trash, allowing you to activate its potent [On Play] and [When Attacking] effects multiple times.

K.O.'ing your opponent's Characters in battle will become more difficult once they start getting high-power Characters out.
"OP11-008 Doll" allows you to trash 1 card from your hand to reduce a Character's power by 6000, significantly weakening it.
It's a versatile card that gives you the opportunity to launch an all-out attack on your opponent's high-cost Characters while also protecting your own attackers with its [Blocker].
