Concept
This deck with [Koala] as its Leader focuses on 8-cost Characters. Use {Revolutionary Army} Characters that become 8 cost or more on your field making them difficult for your opponent to remove, and start drawing cards early with your Leader effect. It also boasts effects that hinder your opponent's attempts to play Characters, allowing you to steadily build your advantage as the match goes on.

Deck Breakdown
Early Game
"OP12-081 Koala" is a Leader with a powerful draw effect that lets you draw a card whenever you attack your opponent’s Leader.
To activate this effect, you’ll need to have 2 Characters with a cost of 8 or more on your field.
Start by gathering Characters that can be raised to 8 cost or more by using "OP12-086 Koala" and "OP12-097 Captains Assembled".
The new black and yellow {Revolutionary Army} Characters have a lower cost while in your hand, but their cost increases once they’re on the field.
For example, "OP12-093 Morley" costs 4 in your hand but is treated as 8 cost on the field, helping to meet your Leader’s requirement for 8-cost Characters.
It also has a +2000 Counter, so you can use it to defend if you already have another Character that can become 8 cost.
Mid Game
Next, start playing {Revolutionary Army} Characters that become 8 cost when on the field.
"OP12-089 Hack" and "OP12-100 Sabo" are {Revolutionary Army} Characters that become 8 cost on the field and help solidify your defense with [Blocker].
"OP12-089 Hack" also has an [On K.O.] effect that lets you K.O. an opponent’s Character with a base cost of 4 or less, making it a great way to cut down your opponent’s strength.
"OP12-087 Nico Robin" is a 6-cost Character that can become an 8-cost [Blocker] in this deck.
The [On Play] effect lets you trash 1 card from your hand to make your opponent trash 2 cards, if they have 5 or more cards in hand.
So long as you have another 8-cost Character on the field from a previous turn, you can use your Leader effect to make up for the card you trashed.
End Game
The [Once Per Turn] effect of Leader "OP12-081 Koala" can be used to greatly restrict your opponent's moves in the endgame.
You can reduce your opponent's Life cards by 1 if they play a Character with a base cost of 8 or more, or if they play a Character using another Character’s effect.
If your opponent is focused on playing Characters without paying much mind to their Life cards, be sure to use your Leader effect to push for the win.
While your opponent is debating whether to play high-cost Characters, take the chance to play several Characters of your own!
"OP12-094 Monkey.D.Dragon" is a {Revolutionary Army} finisher that lets you play 2 Characters at once, as long as your trash is properly set up.
Use it to play powerful 6-cost Characters like "OP12-119 Bartholomew Kuma" and "OP12-087 Nico Robin" from your trash, while continuing to draw cards with your Leader.
