ONE PIECE CARD GAME

Concept

A deck featuring the new mono-green Leader [Roronoa Zoro]. This Leader has a powerful effect that, in exchange for the hefty cost of giving him 3 DON!! cards, lets him attack both a Character and a Leader in the same turn. Staying true to the swordsman theme, the deck also contains an assortment of <Slash> attribute Character cards ready to assist your Leader's attacks.

Deck Breakdown

Early Game

This mono-green deck built around "OP12-020 Roronoa Zoro" is themed around the <Slash> attribute. It not only features Characters with the <Slash> attribute, but also plenty of Characters to support them. Start by using "OP12-028 Kouzuki Hiyori" and "OP12-034 Perona" to add <Slash> attribute Characters and Events to your hand.

This "OP12-020 Roronoa Zoro" deck features many <Slash> attribute Characters. There are a number of Counter +2000 cards such as "OP12-032 Nekomamushi" that also have the <Slash> attribute. Once you've drawn the cards you want, start searching for Counter +2000 cards to strengthen your defense.

Mid Game

The [DON!! x3] [Activate: Main] effect of your Leader "OP12-020 Roronoa Zoro" can be activated to set him as active on any turn in which he has battled another Character.
Give him the necessary DON!! cards, attack one of your opponent's Characters, and then activate his [Activate: Main] effect allowing you to attack their Leader as well!
Hitting both your opponent's field and their Life cards in a single turn is sure to put them under significant pressure.

"OP12-031 Tashigi" and "OP12-026 Kuina" rest your opponent's Characters while giving 3 DON!! cards to your Leader [Roronoa Zoro], making them a perfect fit for this deck's Leader effect.
Rest the Characters your opponent plays, then strengthen your Leader [Roronoa Zoro] by giving him DON!! cards and unleash a powerful attack on your opponent.

End Game

In the late game, it's time to play "OP12-030 Dracule Mihawk".
This 8-cost card has 8000 power and [Blocker], and its [On Play] effect allows you to set an impressive 4 DON!! cards as active.
You can use these DON!! cards to either play mid-cost Characters or give them to your Leader to set up his double attack, making it an excellent finisher.

The [Activate: Main] effect of your Leader "OP12-020 Roronoa Zoro" can be activated even if his attack is blocked by your opponent's [Blocker].
After reducing your opponent's Life, give your Leader a load of DON!! cards and aim to deal a finishing blow that a single [Blocker] can't defend against.
Even if your opponent thinks they're safe with Life cards remaining, you can use "OP12-039 Luffy Is the Man Who Will Be King of the Pirates!!!" to finish them off with a barrage of powerful attacks.
