(Blue) Buggy − FEATURE｜ONE PIECE CARD GAME

Concept

A {Cross Guild} deck led by Buggy that plays out big Characters in a unique way. Assemble a crew with costs of 5 or more in order to play the 10-cost Buggy using your Leader effect. With the new cards, this deck shines with extravagant plays that will leave your opponents stunned through a combination of high-cost Characters and card draw.

Deck Breakdown

Early Game

A unique [Buggy] deck that uses the Leader's [Activate: Main] effect to play loads of high-cost {Cross Guild} cards. The primary goal of this deck is to play "OP09-051 Buggy". Start by playing out as many Characters with a cost of 5 or more as you can. There are some great Characters like "ST25-001 Alvida" that only cost 4 but count as a 5-cost Character on the field.

Mid Game

When you have 5 or more DON!! cards, use your Leader's [Activate: Main] effect to start playing out high-cost Characters. First, play "ST25-003 Crocodile & Mihawk" to draw cards using its [On Play] effect. If you can also use this effect to play "ST25-004 Buggy", it will help you bring out even more powerful Characters! If you use the [Activate: Main] effect of "ST25-004 Buggy" to play "OP09-048 Dracule Mihawk" from your hand, you'll not only get to draw more cards, but you'll also increase the number of Characters you have with a cost of 5 or more.

End Game

Once you have 4 Characters with a cost of 5 or more on your field, you're all set! By playing "OP09-051 Buggy" using your Leader effect, you not only get to play a 12000 power Character for just 5 cost, but you also get to send 1 of your opponent's Characters to the bottom of their deck! If your hand or Life cards are running low, use your spare DON!! cards to play [Blocker] cards like "PRB02-009 Mr.3(Galdino)" to protect yourself.
