Concept
This Ace-centric deck has an emphasis on firepower, focusing on giving [Rush] to heavy-hitting Characters with 8000 power or more. Use your Leader's effect to give [Rush] to {Whitebeard Pirate} type Characters and Monkey.D.Luffy cards, and aim to continuously play high-cost Characters without giving your opponent room to breathe. Although many 8000-power Characters don't have Counter, there are several "Luffy" and "Ace" cards that you can use to bolster your defenses and deftly navigate the battle.

Early Game
"OP16-001 Portgas.D.Ace" is an aggressive Leader that allows you to give 1 Luffy or {Whitebeard Pirates} type Character with 8000 power or more [Rush] using its [Activate: Main] effect.
Aim to play an array of Characters with 8000 power or more during the mid-game so you can give them [Rush] and overwhelm your opponent with their attacks.
Start by playing "OP13-016 Monkey.D.Garp" and "OP16-021 Moby Dick" to gather Characters with 8000 power or more in your hand.
"OP16-021 Moby Dick" is a powerful Stage that has not just a useful [On Play] effect, but also a great [Activate: Main] effect that allows you to give your Leader or one of your Characters 1 rested DON!! card in exchange for trashing it.
This gives you an effective way of boosting your Characters' power over 8000, giving it good synergy with "OP16-001 Portgas.D.Ace".
Mid Game
It's important to solidify your defenses before turning your attention to playing Characters you want to give [Rush] to. Many Characters with 8000 power or more don't have Counter, meaning that there's a real danger that your Characters won't be able to handle your opponent's attacks.
"OP16-015 Monkey.D.Luffy" and "OP16-118 Portgas.D.Ace" work as a good support to bolster your defenses. Both cards make use of the 8000-power Character cards in your hand to shore up your defenses.
Focus on playing Characters who can help defend your cards until you're able to make use of your Leader's effect.
Once you've amassed some DON!! cards, you can play your 8000-power Characters and start making use of your Leader's effect.
Play "OP16-011 Vista" or another 8000-power card, then activate your Leader's [Activate: Main] effect! This will let you attack your opponent's Leader immediately after playing it.
You can also give [Rush] to "Monkey.D.Luffy" cards using your Leader's effect. "OP16-015 Monkey.D.Luffy" normally has 6000 power, but giving it 2 DON!! cards will boost its power to 8000.
Strengthening your Characters with DON!! cards and giving them [Rush] is an important tactic to remember when running this deck.
End Game
Once you have a stock of more than 8 DON!! cards, it's time to play "OP16-003 Edward.Newgate",
a heavy hitter with a whopping 10000 power. Give it [Rush] with your Leader's effect to deal a heavy blow to your opponent.
You can also use its [On Play] effect to lower the power of one of your opponent's Characters by 6000, ensuring that you'll be able to K.O. even your opponent's most powerful Characters in battle.
"OP16-003 Edward.Newgate" also has an effect that gives your Leader [Double Attack] and 2000 power when it's on the field during your turn, which should allow you to attack even harder.
This deck also includes several Characters you can make use of in the late game to lower the cost of cards you want to play.
For example, you can lower the cost of "OP16-015 Monkey.D.Luffy" by 2 if you have more than 6 DON!! cards on your field, and can lower the cost of "OP16-005 Thatch" by 3 if you have a Character with a type including {Whitebeard Pirates} and 8000 power or more.
Attach the extra DON!! cards to Characters with [Rush] and boost their power so you can deal even more damage to your opponent!
