ONE PIECE CARD GAME

Concept

By using Katakuri's Leader effect, you can repeatedly attack with 7000 power early in the game, and check Life to use triggers to play more Characters. In the mid-game, when the leader's attack and triggers give you the right balance of attack and defense, it's time to play powerful characters from the Big Mom Pirates. Keep putting pressure on their Life as you aim for the win.

Deck Breakdown

Early Game

Thanks to the Leader effect, by adding just 1 DON!! card, Katakuri has the strength of being able to turn out 7000 power attacks.
This results in it taking a little time to play other cards, so check the top of your Life to reliably play Characters with triggers. While playing "OP03-113 Charlotte Perrospero," "OP03-110 Charlotte Smoothie" and other power 5000 Characters, give any leftover DON!! cards to your Leader to attack aggressively.

If you take your turn second, you can receive the opponent's second-turn Leader attack with your Life, easily giving "Charlotte Katakuri" Rush.
Since you want to activate triggers to play Characters, begin by taking damage with your Life.

Mid Game

Use the advantage you gained with triggers, and play middle to large Characters.
If your opponent wants to attack "ST09-013 Yamato" and "ST07-010 Charlotte Linlin" it'll take a large number of DON!! cards,
and if they attack your Leader to avoid this, you gain more chances for triggers, letting you go on the attack.

End Game

Play your large finisher, "OP03-114 Charlotte Linlin." It'll definitely put you ahead in terms of life, and its power of 12000 is staggering in play.
Since you can't use other actions with DON!! cards in the turn when it's played, build a defensive strategy to protect your life when you know you'll play this card, so that you don't lose in the following turn.

Using "OP03-123 Charlotte Katakuri" to send the opponent's large Characters to their Life is good for establishing control, but remember that you can also use it on yourself. When your opponent only has smaller Characters left, you can send back your own Characters you no longer need, especially low-cost ones like "OP03-112 Charlotte Purin," in order to recover your Life.
