Introducing {Sky Island} type Monkey.D.Luffy!
A Leader skilled at maintaining the field, this deck is all about protecting your allies by adding a Life card to your hand whenever one of your {Sky Island} type Characters with 6000 base power or more would be removed from the field. Defend your allies, gather Characters on your field to get your attack momentum going, then finish off your Opponent using the [Rush] ability of "Monkey.D.Luffy".

Deck Breakdown

With "OP15-098 Monkey.D.Luffy" as your Leader, when your {Sky Island} type Character with 6000 base power or more would be removed from the field by your opponent, you may add 1 card from the top of your Life cards to your hand instead, keeping your Characters safe from both attacks in battle and other effects.
In the early game, play "OP15-108 Nami" and gather {Sky Island} type Characters with 6000 base power or more in your hand, such as "OP15-113 Roronoa Zoro."

"OP15-113 Roronoa Zoro" is a powerful Character which, when played, can trash a card from your hand to add a card from the top of your deck to your Life cards.
Since you can add cards to your Life like this, it works perfectly when used in tandem with the Leader effect of "OP15-098 Monkey.D.Luffy", which consumes Life cards.
As a {Sky Island} type Character with 6000 base power or more, "OP15-113 Roronoa Zoro" is also a great attacker who's hard to remove from the field, making it crucial for this deck.

Start by focusing on playing {Sky Island} type Characters with 6000 base power or more.
"OP15-109 Nico Robin" has an [On Play] effect that both helps you prepare your hand and allows you to play a {Sky Island} type Character card with a cost of 5 or less from your hand.
"OP15-114 Wyper" is also an excellent choice, with an [On Play] effect that reduces the power of all your opponent's Characters by −2000, K.O.'ing any Character that drops to 0 or below.
By further lowering the power of rested Characters and then K.O.'ing them in battle, you can widen the gap between you and your Opponent.

Since "EB03-055 Nico Robin" does not have the {Sky Island} type, you cannot protect it using your Leader's effect.
However, its powerful [On K.O.] effect allows you to deal 1 damage to your opponent, which means you can consistently chip away at your opponent's Life whether it remains on the field or gets K.O.'d.
If you do not have "OP15-109 Nico Robin," consider playing "EB03-055 Nico Robin."

Play a [Rush] Character, and launch a swift attack on your opponent together with the Characters under your Leader's protection.
"OP15-119 Monkey.D.Luffy" gains [Rush] if you have 6 or more DON!! cards on your field, allowing it to attack immediately.
It also has an ability that lets you give it +1000 per 1 cost on the revealed card by revealing 1 of your Life cards when your opponent activates an Event or [Blocker].
Use this effect to break through the opponent's Event or [Blocker] and win with a single decisive blow!

It's important to remember that "OP15-119 Monkey.D.Luffy" can only use this effect if you still have Life cards remaining.
If you have no Life cards left, you can use the [Main] effect of "OP15-116 Gum-Gum Golden Rifle" to add 1 card to your Life cards.
Combine this with "OP15-113 Roronoa Zoro", and you can recover 2 Life cards in a single turn.
You can also use this as a strategic defensive move in cases where you need to survive one more turn.
